| My goal... waiting for me before June 2010!

| Haven't xanga'd for awhile. Mainly due to the fact that I have been working 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. For some, that's the dream hours to work.
Life's quite strange with these hours at work. Hour before 9 and hour after 5 is still really classified as work since I have to get up an hour or so earlier to prepare, and don't get home till around 6. Cook, eat, wash and sleep, then the process repeats, it's like WHERE'S ALL MY TIME GONE?!
Well as an update, I'm working for a company called Hydro Polymers who is part of a huge sector company Norsk Hydro a.s.a as IT Technologist. My role in simple terms, and even the site director's terms is anything and everything with a plug on it is dealt by us...that include the table lamp (Not quite IT, but it's our fault if the table lamp doesn't work anyway)! So far there has been very little that has bought up a challenge, infact I can't recall any. Thing's like domain controllers going down would be rather challenging, that happened once, and quite frankly thats more than enough! Though saying that, guess where they put the student when things like that happens? Help desk... "man" the phones!
Onto a slightly more interesting, or not, topic, on Wednesday 15th November, I did fund raising event at work along with Rick, Bunki and HunnyBee. We washed cars! Raised over ?40 for Children In Need. There's a lot of satisfactory things in life, but the good feeling that you get from doing things for charity is unmatchable. Hopefully in short distant future, I will be able to join volunteering teams who go to places like South Africa to help those in need.
Lately, HunnyBee has been wound up by her gayass groups at Uni and generally Uni work itself. They suck, both of them. How do lazy idiots get to final year?! More to the point, don't Uni lecturers have the initiative to see who's carrying the group?! Trying to help HunnyBee on as much of her work as possible to ease the stress.
Well, lets end on a good note... Jackass 2.

| Well...sure has been awhile before I last updated. Been up and down the country doing weird and wonderful things from house viewing, interviews, medical tests, to site seeing, visiting great aunts and bit of DIY'ing. But all this, is finally slowly coming to an end.
Updates have been non-existence due to obvious reasons of which I call "Enjoying my summer", and quite honestly, even though not on holiday, the summer heat this year in UK melted me before I even arrived to sit infront of a computer. It's too hot !!! The worse was still UK's recorded hottest night, with a stupid dog barking outside at 3am and didn't stop until after 4am. Windows could not be closed due to the humidity, and the fan was blowing hot air! Many different sleeping positions were tried, shifting pillow from one end to the other, to the side, to eventually just off the bed altogether! Just as you almost nodded off to the virtual world, the dog barks again! ggrrrrr. Ended up tiring myself by sitting up until I couldn't stand it anymore.
Only a week left before I start my placement. Can't wait. I had a few long sleeved shirts with about one or two short sleeved ones, but bought a new load this summer hehehe. Must have spent about ?0 on trousers and shirts altogether. I put absolutely anything on normally, but would never leave the house to work if I don't look smart!
In the last week, I've been busy looking for accomodation as the one we were going to go for, had been taken. So now 3 viewings have been made for Monday. I've also been working on updating a website for my client who I initially did to raise a bit of money for uni, finally completed it all today. Going to visit my sister's god mother tomorrow as she's in hospital. A minor break on Tuesday, followed by parts arriving on Wednesday and I need to go over to my Auntys to install and teach them how to use the bloody stuff! Thursday - Saturday will involve me packing everything for my parents to bring up, as I will be heading up to a distant cousin's on Sunday to stay for a bit due to accomodation not sorted yet.
Don't know whether it's my fault or just the way the uni placement organised things.
Reason for not sleeping #19: I have to finish this alchopop cos it's supposedly good for me...well atleast it tastes lemony than the lager that I had to drink! | | |
